场景一 上学
Mary: Hey! The bell is ringing.
Linda: Hurry up or we'll be late.
Mary: Come on.
Mary & Linda: Sorry, Miss Green. We are late.
Miss Green: Hi, Mary and Linda, you are late again. Please go to your seats, but don't be late next time. Is everybody here?
Henry(monitor): Paul is absent. He's sick.
Miss Green: All right. Sit down, Henry. Let's begin our class.
现在进行时主要用来表示正在进行或发生的动作。其一般形式为：主语+be(is/am/are)+动词的现在分词（即动词的ing形式）。
场景二 上学
Paul: Hello, Henry.
Henry: Hi, Paul.
Paul: I missed the class last week. Would you please help me with Lesson 2?
Henry: Sure, I would.
Paul: Thank you.
Henry: That's OK. Please open your book and turn to page18. Let's read the dialogue first.
Paul: OK.
一般过去时通常表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态。其一般形式为：动词的一般过去时：主语+was/were; 2.实义动词的一般过去时：主语+动词的过去时。
