On June 28th，1919 - John Maynard Keynes.

On June 28, 1919, John Maynard Keynes warned that war reparations imposed on Germany by the Treaty of Versailles would produce worldwide economic havoc. When a world depression proved him correct, Keynes advocated government spending to create employment. Later, the establishment of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank owed much to Keynes. Also America's plan to help finance and reconstruct post World War II Europe, as proposed by Secretary of State George Marshall, was largely inspired by Keynes. Keynes died in 1946 but many economic disciples remain.
