Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Themstarted out as the name of a textbook, mentioned in passing during Harry's early days at Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Four years later, Fantastic Beasts was published in the real world written by JK Rowling but credited to fictional author and "magizoologist" Newt Scamander.
The book, authored by Scamander in 1927, describes 85 magical species found around the wizarding world as documented over his years of globe-trotting. During Scamander's time at the Ministry of Magic's Beast Division, he introduced several key pieces of magical legislation including the 1947 Werewolf Registry and the 1965 ban on experimental breeding of magical creatures.

In September of 2013, Warner Bros announced that they would be re-teaming with Rowling on a new trilogy based upon Fantastic Beasts. Then in a jaw dropping twist JK Rowling announced that it would in fact be five films. Five!
Katherine Waterston, best known for her breakout in Inherent Vice and Steve Jobs, will play his love interest Porpentina, an ambitious and idealistic young woman working for MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America).
Alison Sudol plays Tina's younger sister Queenie, a free-spirited legilimens (a kind of mind-reader).
艾莉森·苏朵儿饰演蒂娜的妹妹奎妮,她是一名摄念师(摄神取念者)。
Comedian Dan Fogler will play a Muggle character. His Kowalski is a good-natured aspiring baker who's introduced to the wizarding world through his friendship with Newt.
Fantastic Beasts 2, 3, 4 and 5: sequels to equal 神奇动物2、3、4、5部:续集
Unsurprisingly, details are fairly scares on the sequels though we have learned bits and pieces. The second movie will be set in Europe rather than the US and a young Dumbledore will be featured more prominently.
Yates has signed up to direct all five films. While it's too early to say exactly how the sequels will be broken down it seems likely that the movies will begin to chart the relationship and falling out of Dumbledore and Grindlewald.
