A top U.S. commander in Afghanistan is calling on a Florida church to put a stop to a planned Quran burning. The church says it will burn the Islamic holy book on September 11th, but Gen. David Petraeus says that will only endanger U.S. troops overseas.
Smoke from wildfires in Colorado is hiding the mountains from you. So far, some 3,500 acres are burned near Boulder, Colorado. About 3,000 people have been forced to flee their homes.
Reports state that the 2005 Heisman Trophy Winner Reggie Bush will soon lose that title. The running back, who now plays for the New Orleans Saints, has been accused of violating NCAA rules during his time in San Diego.
Tiger Woods will represent the U.S. at the upcoming Ryder Cup tournament. He was picked along with three others to fill out the last four spots on the roster. Woods has yet to win on tour this season, however, he remains the top-ranked golfer in the world.
