小时候我们总是会被问到很多奇奇怪怪的问题，可能在最小的时候你总是会被问到是喜欢爸爸多一点还是妈妈多一点呢？聪明的孩子一定会说爸爸妈妈都喜欢啦~
那么等我们渐渐长大啦~又出现一个更奇怪的问题！
我想每一个语文老师一定布置过一篇关于我的梦想的作文，小小的孩子一定会想，梦想究竟是什么呢？它可以吃嘛？
那么接下来我们就来了解一个故事，看看孩子的梦想究竟是什么样的，他们小小的梦想是否实现了呢？家长又应该怎么去引导孩子找到自己的人生轨迹呢?
What do you want to be,Brian? Brian你要做什么？
在家里妈妈总是陪伴孩子的时间是最多了，于是妈妈给儿子制定了一个梦想~
What do you want to be,Brian? Brian你要做什么？
"He wants to be the greatest violinist since Yehudi Menuhin,"said his mother. “
自从Yehudi Menuhin他想成为最伟大的小提琴手”他妈妈说。
"Do I?"said Brian. “是吗？我想？”Brian说。
很明显上面的这段对话表现了孩子对小提琴是很陌生的，其实在生活中让孩子学习乐器的家长也不少，那么久一起来看看现实中我们的孩子是否也和Brain一样呢？
"You do,"said his mother and she bought him a violin and made him practise for two hours every day. “你想的”妈妈说，然后妈妈买给了Brian一架小提琴逼他每天练习两小时。
Brian tried,but the strings kept snapping and he would keep sticking his bow where he shouldn't. Brian尝试了，但是他小提琴的弦总是断，然后他总是拿琴弓戳不应该戳的地方。
Brian的妈妈一定是望子心切，但显然这种有些“逼迫”或“强加”式的学习方式是不可取的，看来我们的小主人公Brian没有音乐的天赋，那么音乐家的梦想应该是破灭了，而在孩子的教育问题上爸爸妈妈总有自己不同的见解，那接下来我们一起来看看爸爸的想法吧~
"He doesn't want to be a violinist,"said his father,"he wants to be a computer wizard,like me,don't you,son?" “他不想做小提琴手”他爸爸说“他想像我一样做一个电脑奇才，对不对儿子？”
"Well..."said Brian. “这......”Brian说道。
"Of course you do!"said his father,"I've spent an absolute mint on this new computer."
“你当然想咯”他爸爸说“我在这新电脑上花了大价钱呢”
显然，Brian的爸爸也只是把自己的梦想附加在孩子身上了，引导他的儿子继承自己的梦想……
也许这个问题，我们不少家长都会这么想，“希望孩子少走弯路，希望孩子变得优秀……”
所以Brian的姐姐也来支招啦……
Brian did his best,but the instructions went in one ear and straight out of the other.Then the wretched thing blew up.
Brian做了最大的努力，但是指令从她的一个耳朵进直接从另一个耳朵出，然后悲剧发生了。
"He doesn't want to be a computer wizard,"said his sister,"he wants to be the most famous ballet dancer since Nureyev."
“他不想做电脑奇才”他姐姐说，“他想做从Nureyev起就像做著名的芭蕾舞者”
"I..."said Brian. “我......”Brian说
"Shut up and put these tights on,"said his sister. “闭嘴，把这些东西穿上。”姐姐说。
Brain really tried,but he kept dropping the ballerinas. Brain真的累了，但他却依然没有停下跳舞。
And he accidentally kicked the pianist off her stool. 突然，他不小心把钢琴家从椅子上撞下来了
And he snagged his tights. 还把自己的裤袜给划破了。
接着，他的哥哥也加入进来……
"I'm telling you,he wants to be a boxer,"said Brain's brother.
“我告诉你们，他想做拳击手”他哥哥说。
"He wants to be the heavyweight champion of the world.Come on,Brian,put your mitts up."
“他想成为世界重量级的冠军。加油吧Brian，带上手套”
But Brian preferred his nose the way it was.
但是Brian更希望他的鼻子没有歪掉。
And then，舅舅、舅妈还有那些旁人也提出了他们的想法……
"That lad wants to be the best jockey since Lester Piggott,"said his uncle."You want to get him a horse." “从 Lester Piggott开始，这个少年就想成为最好的骑手”他舅舅说“你想要他的马。”
"I wouldn't bet on it,"said Brian. “我不敢赌。”Brian说。
"Horse?"snorted his auntie. “马？”她舅妈哼哼着。
"What good is a horse when it's quite plain to me he wants to be an artist,like Van Gogh."
“马有什么好？对我来说很普通啊，他想做画家，就像Van Gogh那样。”
"He wants to be an admiral,"said the vet,"like Nelson." “他想成为司令”兽医说：“像Nelson”
"He wants to be a politician!"said the man who sells funny little brushes door to door.
“他想成为政客!"一个一家家送可爱小刷子的人说
"STOP!"shouted Brian."I want to be...I want to be..."
“停”Brian叫道：“我想......我想......”
Brian变得很辛苦，可是自己却深陷家人的各种期许中，难以实现又难以热爱，让他也非常矛盾，终于他想要表达自己的意愿了
"Well what DO you want to be,Brian?" “好吧，Brian你想成为什么？”
"I want to be the most ordinary little boy in the world,"said Brian.And guess what...
“我想做世界上最普通的孩子”Brian说。你猜怎么着？
....he was brilliant at it. 他做得很好。
