When Octopus reached the reef, one little seahorse welcomed her home.
Then another, and another.

Octopus was glad to be back with her friends.

Octopus lay hidden in her cosy cave, enjoying the scene outside.

Turtle chased squid squid chase shrimp and the puffer was getting never with all the chasing going on .
海龟追逐乌贼，乌贼追逐小虾和河豚想跟他们追逐，但是他们从来都追不上它。
The Octopus saw the seahorse bobbing along outside.
章鱼看到海马在外面悠闲地摆动。
One little one peeked in ,Then another.And another .
一个小海马偷偷看着章鱼，然后另一个，接着有一个小海马过来偷看。
The seahorses found Octopus fascinating.
海马发现章鱼很吸引人。
But she was shy and did not like to be noticed.She tired to shoo them away.
但是章鱼很害羞，并且不喜欢人看着她。他尝试避开他们。
But they thought she was playing, so they played too.
但是海马认为章鱼在跟他们玩，他们也要跟章鱼玩。
" I give up ." Octopus sighed.
章鱼叹气说，好吧，我放弃了。
Squeezing out of her cave, she crawled into the garden.
挤出它的洞穴，他爬到花园里。
She changed colors just like that,and disappeared .
她转变了颜色，像这样，然后消失。
The seahorses swam away， wondering where she‘d gone.
海马也游开，很好奇到底章鱼去了哪里。
See snake slithered in and out of holes.
看着水蛇在洞里爬进爬出。
Among the swaying anemones, baby dominos played hide-and seek,
当中有海葵往一边摆，小多米魚在捉迷藏。
while clown fish chased butterflies fish.
然而小丑鱼追逐蝴蝶鱼。
Tiny fish ate algae from a big fish's scales, leaving them sparking clean.
小鱼吃着从大鱼的鳞屑里掉出的海藻,让小鱼帮他清理干净。
Octopus was about to pounce on a juicy lobster,
章鱼正准备扑向一个多汁龙虾，
when she saw the little seahorses coming her way.
当她看到小海马往她这边过来。
She went perfectly still, the lucky lobster slid into a crevice.
她完全静止不动，幸运的龙虾也溜进裂缝处。
When the seahorses weren't disturbing her,they were delightful to watch.
当小海马不再打扰他，而是他们开心地在观看她。
They wiggled and twirled, and one even did somersaults.
他们在打转和摆动，有只小海马甚至翻跟斗。
It looked like so much fun!
看起来很好玩！
It was hard for Octopus to keep still, but she did ,and the merry seahorses moved on.
对章鱼来说继续静止不动是很困难的，但是她还是照做了，并且开心的小海马也离开了。
Octopus crept over to a thicket of stars, Jellyfish drifted past and headed beyond the reef .
章鱼爬上错综复杂的海星上，水母漂过去,越过暗礁。
"Where do they go ?" She gazed at the shimmering shapes.
“他们要去那里？她注视着闪闪发光形状说。
Suddenly she had a funny feeling.
突然，她有个有趣的念头
The seahorses were staring. For how long , she wondered !
小海马凝视着，要多久呢，她想。
She inked the water to hide her blushing and took off.
她喷墨到水里来隐藏她的脸红然后离开。
She wanted to get away, far from goggling eyes.
她想离开，逃离海马的瞪眼睛。
After a while, she spied something interesting.
过了一会儿，他发现了一些有趣的事情。
A box full of delicious crabs
一整盒都是美味的螃蟹。
Octopus squished herself into the cage... but the crabs began pinching.
章鱼使劲压扁自己钻进笼里....但是螃蟹开始收聚。
She fiddled with the door, and it opened. Out tumbled the frantic crabs.
她拉起门并且打开，出去的螃蟹乱蹦乱跳。
Octopus was about to grab a few, when she had another funny feeling.
章鱼准备去攫取一些螃蟹，这时她又有另一种有趣的感觉。
A hungry eel was about to strike !
有一条饥饿的鳗鱼即将要袭击过来。
Octopus squirted a cloud of ink and swam and swam and swam.
章鱼喷出墨汁然后游啊游...
When she finally stopped, she was far beyond the reef,
最终她停下来，她是远远超过了暗礁。
Here the water was gloriously empty.....no one watching , no one to hide from.
这里是深水处，没有看到，也没有躲在这里。
Whale song rose faintly from the deep, Octopus remembered the dancing seahorses.

She wiggled ! She twirled ! She even did a somesault !

She was so happy to be alone.
她很开心又可以一个人。
Then she felt a rumbling in the waters below .
突然她在水底感觉到隆隆声的声音。
Whoosh!
嘶嘶声！
A whale surged past, up and out of the water.
鲸鱼涌过水面
When Octopus awoke, she went outside,
当章鱼清醒，他游到外面。
A lone jellyfish drifted by No one was around to disturb her in this wonderful quiet place.
水母孤零零地漂流到一个没有人打扰他并且一个非常安静的地方。
But after some time ,she began thinking about the lively reef,
当时过了一会儿，章鱼开始想起到可爱的暗礁。
with its graceful anemones and slinking sea snakes.
有优雅的海葵和偷偷摸摸的海蛇。
Most of all ,she wondered what the seahorses were up to.
重要的是，她想知道小海马在游到哪里去了。
" I'd better go home and find out." she said, hurrying along.
我还是回家并且去找他们，说着，她赶快沿着路一直游回去。
