One morning sombody put a chocolate chicken in the bridbath .
某一早上有人将一只巧克力鸡放在鸡窝上。
“I love you！”Said Max .
Max对着巧克力鸡说：“我太喜欢你了！”
" wait, Max " Said Max's sister ,Ruby .
" First we go on get an egg hunt , if you find the most eggs ,then you get the chocolate chicken .
And if i find the most eggs , then i get the chocolate chicken. " said Ruby .
当Max想拿起巧克力鸡的时候，Max的姐姐Ruby拉着Max说“ 等等 。”
“首先我们先进行一次寻找蛋游戏，如果你找到最多蛋，那么巧克力鸡就给你。
如果我找到最多蛋，那么巧克力鸡归我所有。”Ruby说的。
Max went looking for eggs , but all he found was a mud puddle .
Ruby find a big yellow egg . but Max didn't find any .
" No eggs ,no chicken , Max " Said Ruby .
Max开始找蛋，但是他找到却是一滩泥。
Ruby找到一个黄色的大蛋。但是Max没有找到蛋。
Max就感到很灰心，Ruby就跟他说“没有找到蛋，就没有巧克力鸡吃了。”
Max went looking again ,but all he found were acorns .
Ruby found a blue egg .
" Max, " Said Ruby, " pull yourself tegether, otherwise you'll never get the chocolate chicken ."
Max继续寻找，但是他找到却是橡实。
Ruby又找到一个蓝色蛋。
Ruby对Max 说“你要振作点，不然你是不可能拿到巧克力鸡的。”
So Max went looking with Ruby .
Ruby found a red egg with green stars .Max found a spoon .
Ruby found a gold egg with purple stripes .and a turquoise with silver swirls and a lavender egg with orange polka dots.Max found some ants .
所以Max就跟着Ruby寻找蛋。
Ruby找到一个带绿色星星的红色蛋。Max就找一个勺子。
Ruby找到一个带紫色条纹的金色得蛋、一个带银色漩涡围绕的蓝绿色的蛋和一个带橙色圆点的淡紫色的蛋。Max就找到一些蚂蚁。
Then he made ant-and-acorn pancakes.
" Max," Said Ruby," you'd have trouble finding your own ears if they weren't attach to your head ."
MAX将他找到的东西做成蚂蚁橡实煎饼。
Ruby就跟Max说“如果你是不用心去寻找彩蛋的，你是不会找到任何彩蛋的。”
But Max ran away . And hit .
但是MAx 抱着巧克力鸡跑开并且躲起来。
The birdbath was empty.
"Where are you ,Max ? "Ruby called . Max ate the chicken's tail .
鸡窝上是空的，巧克力鸡不见了。
Ruby就呼叫着Max “ 你在哪里啊？" 就在这时候，Max吃了巧克力鸡的尾巴了。
" I see you, Max " Said Ruby . But she didn't .
Max ate the chicken's head .
" I wll give you haf the chocolate chickent , Max! " yelled Ruby.
Max ate the chicken's wings.
“我看到你在哪里了Max 。”Ruby说。其实她并没有看见Max的。
这时候，Max吃了巧克力鸡的头。
Ruby喊叫着说“我会给一半巧克力鸡给你的，Max ！”
Max又吃了巧克力鸡的翅膀。
Then he popped out of his hidding place .
" Max ," Said Ruby. " how could you do this to me? "
然后Max在他藏身的地方蹦出来。
“ Max ，你怎么可以这样对我呢？”Ruby说
" I love you ! ” Said Max .
这时候不知道谁偷偷又放了一只巧克力鸡。Max 看着那只巧克力鸡说“我真的太爱你了！”
