现代吸血鬼动作爱情片《暮色》新近上映，其制作公司顶峰娱乐就已经宣布，制作方已经正式进入续集《新月》的制作。续集电影将继续本着斯蒂芬妮•梅尔的《暮色之城》系列名叫《新月》的第二部。而作为打头炮的《暮色》已于本周末在北美各大影院上映。原著作者斯蒂芬妮•梅尔表示：“我想不是所有作家都能如此荣幸，像我的作品这样由顶峰娱乐改编拍摄成电影。能同他们再度合作拍摄《新月》我真是受宠若惊。”据悉，《暮色》的男女主演克里斯汀·斯图尔特和罗伯特·帕丁森亦联名致粉丝，感谢他们的热情支持，并表示十分乐意同他们分享下一部电影。

Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings. Stephenie Meyer stated, "I don't think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I'm thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on NEW MOON."
