Starring - The Hungarian Revolution
October 1956, students, intellectuals and office workers pour into the streets of Budapest, demanding the removal of Soviet troops. Within weeks, more than a thousand tanks [-----1-----]. Outraged citizens fought back with little more than [-----2-----], but they were hopelessly outmatched. Brutal and unrestrained gunfire killed more than twenty-five thousand Hungarians in Budapest alone and wounded 50,000 more. Hungarian secret police were said to have helped the Soviets who [-----3-----] a new government under Janos Kadar, an early critic of the uprising. The blunt [-----4-----], complete as of November 15, 1956, caused thousands of women, children and old people to leave Hungary and [-----5-----] in other lands.
