Fire has engulfed a shopping mall in Jilin City in northeast China's Jilin Province. At least 19 people were killed, with 27 others injured.

The fire broke out at the Yunchun Street Shopping Mall at about 9.15 AM on Friday. Firefighters arrived at the scene shortly after and extinguished the blaze in the afternoon. It's not clear how many people were inside the mall at the time of the fire. Authorities are still investigating what started the blaze.
