The official opening of the Fifth East Asian Games is still three days away, but a number of popular events kicked off on Wednesday.
Among them, table tennis. Team China's first opponent was Macao as the table tennis competition began. Xu Xin of China took a comfortable win over Zeng Haihua from Macao 3-0.
China next sent out Zhang Jike, Zhang did his job nicely and over took Liang Jianhua by another 3-0 scoreline.
Hao Shuai was the last member of Team China to step to the table and he was just as impressive, taking another 3-0 win. Team China, off to a great start at East Asian Games.
