Ⅰ．预习

1.       How many chores do you know ?

 do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the trash ,make the bed, fold the clothes, clean the living room…..除了以上家务，另外本节课还有clean the bike ，do the laundry( 洗熨衣服)等。

laundry 可以指洗衣店，例如：He doesn’t like washing clothes by himself, so he often goes to the laundry.

laundry 也可以指要洗的衣服，例如：do the laundry.

2.       hate to do =hate doing sth

  I hate to work at the weekend.= I hate working at the weekend.

3. because ,because of 的区别

				because后面跟句子如：

				I didn't buy it because it was too expensive. 我没有买是因为它太贵了。

				because of后面跟名词性短语或名词、代词、动名词。

He is here because of you (that). 他为你(那事)而来这里。（代词）

He lost his job because of his age. 由于年龄关系他失去了工作。（名词）

4. outside 和out 的区别

				outside 更多的表示一种状态。

				<例> She is outside the room. 意为她在房间外。

				out在表示"在外面"时则需加介词补全

				<例> She went out of the room. 意为她走出了房间。

				现代英语的口语中也经常说She is out. 表示她不在家。 

5. agree 的用法　  

agree with sb.同意某人的观点如：I agree with you on this point。

agree to do sth  同意做某事  如：He agrees to leave at once. 

agree to sth     同意某一件事情如：如Is he going to agree to our suggestion?

一．词汇与短语学习

1．teenager 青少年，十几岁的青少年

2．ask sb to do sth叫某人做某事

   ask sb not to do sth 叫某人不要做某事

3. borrow与lend的用法区别

两者都可表示“借”，但是borrow指“借入”，而lend则指“借出”，

两者其实是一对反义词，而不是同义词。

   （1）borrow 借入；借来   borrow sth. from sb.       

过去式为borrowed

   （2）lend   借出；借给   lend sth. to sb= lend sb. sth   过去式为lent

May I borrow your dictionary?

我可以借用你的词典吗?

I wanted to borrow some money from her, but she lent me nothing.

我想向她借点钱，但她分文没借。

   （3）borrow和lend是短暂性动词，长时间借用则用have或keep。

I have kept this book for three days.

我已经买这本书三天了。

注意：在免费借用的情况下用borrow，付费租用的情况下用rent, 如借用电话等不能移动的东西的情况下用use.

4. invite sb. to do sth.邀请某人做某事

  invite的名词形式是invitation
