SAT的批判性阅读如何答题
SAT的批判性阅读部分包括两种类型的问题：完成句子和篇章阅读。
完成句子相对简单，需要词汇量以及逻辑推理能力。
相反，篇章阅读测试考生的理解、分析，甚至评价文章的能力。而且文章的可读性不是很强，问题也不是特别明确，因此很多学生担心这部分阅读。
其实，大家不用担心篇章阅读。在这一部分，文章是你最好的朋友，只有文章能帮助你答题。文章的描述与表达很清晰，并不是模棱两可的，而且文章也不是特别长。答题的关键在于：利用文章帮助解答。
什么意思？批判阅读部分考察大家理解文章的能力，因此只能借助文章中的信息回答特定的问题。有时，特别难的词汇文章中会给出解释。答完题后，大家最好再检查一下。
做这部分题目时，首先要读一下问题。在后面的文章中，我们会介绍篇章阅读问题的不同类型。问题的顺序通常与文章中观点的顺序一致，而且会标出行号。因此大家就可以看问题所在的段落或者上下文，尤其是再阅读唱片文章的时候，这样会节省很多时间。
我们来先看几个例子，思考下列问题（这些只是列子，没有文章）：
1. On line 4, "daring" most nearly means:
A) egging on B) cheering C) brave D) insubstantial E) punctual
2. According to the author, why can't we depend on recycling to solve the waste management crisis?
A) Recycling is limited to those who participate B) Recycling is inefficient and uses more energy than it saves

E) Recycling cannot process hazardous waste products
3. It can be inferred from lines 13 to 15 that:

E) The Earth is facing a serious threat from global warming
看完第一题后，你应该马上阅读文章的第4行及上下文，并回答问题。这一题要求考生根据上下文理解词语意思。这个词并不难，但它所在的上下文会使词语的意思发生变化。
解答第二题时应寻找问题中的关键词，如"recycling," "waste management," "hazardous waste," and "capacity"。
解答第三题，并阅读13-15行找出答案。
重要的是，在做这部分阅读时，应先浏览问题，再读文章。
• 遇到不理解的问题就跳过，放到最后解答。批判性阅读部分有时间限制，不能在一题上浪费太多时间。
• 答案选项中有一项一定是正确的，因此可以用排除法，或辨别相似选项，排除错误选项。
• 看一下选项是否回答了问题，或表达是否太过绝对。
如果出现类似下面一题的问题：
Who was the US President in year of 1812?
A) Jefferson
B) Hamilton
C) Madison
D) Roosevelt
E) The US Constitution guarantees separation of powers.
尽管E项的表述正确，但却不是正确的答案。切记，不要选择与问题不相关的答案，这是答题时很重要的一点。
再次提醒大家注意：先浏览问题，再看文章，然后答题。
