CW台最新打造的又一部偶像剧《吸血鬼日记》近日开播,俊男美女的路线,加上动人的配乐,又是一贯CW的华美风格。而片中的插曲耳熟能详的真是不少。除了这首Mat Kearney的Here We Go之外,我们还听到了Placebo的Running Up That Hill(听歌)、Katy Perry的Thinking of You(听歌)、The Fray的Never Say Never(听歌)等等。

  能写善唱的Mat Kearney从在加州大学读书的时候就开始了自己的音乐生涯,在那里他进修文学而且还是足球队的主力球员。完成了三年级的学业后Kearney和他的好友也是后来的制作人Robert Marvin一起前往了纳仕维尔,本来的目的仅仅是夏季采风吸取灵感写些歌,可出乎意料有唱片邀约,Kearney决定留在田纳西随即开始了专业音乐生涯,他钟爱把Hip-Hop和民谣夹杂入流行的曲调,在2004年Kearney在家独立厂牌下出版了第一张专辑《Bullet》,06年加盟了主流厂牌哥伦比亚唱片后第二张专辑《Nothing Left to Lose》问世,这张在纳仕维尔Dark Horse Studio录制的专辑,为Kearney稍稍淡化Hip-Hop的押韵,更多的专注于吉他的演奏上,旋律性更强。
