美女奶奶获得全额奖学金
Margaret Dunning is not like most 102-year-old people. She is still an active driver! Recently, this “Belle of the Concours (老爷车展上的美人) ” displayed her automotive baby in an antique car show, which made her a celebrity.
玛格丽特·唐宁和大多数102岁的老人不一样。她是个仍然能开车的驾驶员！最近，这位“老爷车展上的美人”在一场老爷车展上展示了她的汽车宝贝，这使她成为了名人。
But the energetic old lady is far from done yet. Recently, Dunning learned she had been given a full scholarship to return to school, nearly 80 years later, to finally earn her business degree. “I’m having a big day,” Dunning said. “It was a complete surprise!”
但是这位精力充沛的老年女士的活动还远远没有结束。最近，唐宁收到了全额奖学金的的邀请，在80年后重返学校，毕业后将获得商科学位。“这是我的大日子，”唐宁说，“完全是个惊喜！”
Auto products manufacturer the FRAM Group decided to help send Dunning back to Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (密歇根大学罗斯商学院) after seeing a story about her lifetime devotion to cars.
汽车产品制造商FRAM集团在看到她一生钟爱汽车的故事后，决定帮助唐宁回到密歇根大学罗斯商学院。
Dunning has been driving for most of her life. She grew up on a farm not far from Henry Ford’s (福特汽车的创始人) residence, and her father taught her to drive at the age of eight. After graduating from high school, Dunning went to the University of Michigan, but was forced to drop out during the Great Depression (美国经济大萧条时期) to help her widowed mother.
唐宁一生中大多数时间都在开车。她在离亨利·福特（福特汽车的创始人）住所不远处的一个农场长大，八岁的时候父亲就教会她开车。高中毕业后，唐宁进入密西根大学，却在美国经济大萧条时期被迫辍学，回家帮助她的单身母亲。
Dunning said she had already planned out her way to the school and she was very excited about the opportunity.“I’m very pleased about it,” she said. “I feel that I’ve been awarded a few years that others do not have, and I am really very happy that I have this beautiful old world to live in.”
唐宁表示，她已经计划好了去学校的路线，她对拥有这个机会感到十分兴奋。“我非常开心，”她说，“我觉得我获得了其他人所没有的几年时间，而且我能在这个美丽而古老的世界中生活真的很开心。”
It’s a well-deserved honor for a woman who has spent the better part of her own life giving back.
对于一位付出了自己生活中更好的时光的女士来说，这是生活回馈给她的当之无愧的荣誉。
