1. bit by bit
威尔来到荷兰人海盗船上来寻找心脏和钥匙来解救他的父亲，他与父亲相见了，他父亲解释到，100年，你会慢慢地失去自己，然后，一点点的被吞噬，就像可怜的维恩一样。一旦宣了誓，就永远无法离开这里。Bit by bit是一点一点，逐渐地意思。
2. get away

维恩说到，用钥匙打开亡灵箱之钥，然后刺进心脏里。哦，不，不要刺进去。“飞行荷兰人”需要一个活的心脏，心脏死了的话船长也就死了，船长死了也就没有钥匙了。刺进心脏意味着就要成为这艘船的新船长，终身为这艘船服务。
