托福口语模板之管理者对员工严格还是宽松好呢

Task2 – In a workplace, do you think the employer should constantly supervise the employees or is it better that the employer only checks on the employees occasionally? Please include specific reasons and details in your response.

  Task 2

Some manager likes to closely watch their employees while others prefer to give them more freedom which do you think is more effective.

  托福口语范文一:

Personally, I think employees should be given more freedom and flexibility. To begin with, they tend to be more creative and innovative when they enjoy a lot of flexibility at work, thus they can come up with new idea, designs and more effective business solutions to their customers and clients. As we can see that if workers enjoy some flexibilities, like flexible working hours, play their own music at work or enjoy other sorts of freedom, they will be more productive. Additionally, research shows that employees who have a relaxing working environment might be more willing to work long hours.

  托福口语范文二:

  Sample:

I think it’s better that the employer only checks on the employees occasionally. I mean, sure, the staff may make mistakes or dawdle or act in other inappropriate ways sometimes, but that’s only being human. What an employer needs to do is to make business plans, set rules and standards to let the employees follow. If anything needs attention or goes wrong, there should be managers of different purposes to directly supervise and take control. However, if an employer always appears in the workplace of his/her staff, that might put too much pressure on the employees which may in turn decrease their working efficiency and creativity. It’s also not a good way to maintain the employer’s image of authority. I think a bit distance is always good.
